The Merlot wine produced in Orevita - Vanju Mare is characterized by a distinct personality, a dark ruby-red colour; it is a full-bodied wine, slightly herbaceous when young, with a very good evolution during ageing. The wine is produced by Vinterra International SA and the vinification is carried out employing the method of classic fermentation, using both stainless steel tanks and wood barrels for ageing.

Tasting Notes

"Black cherry and currant aromas are accented with subtle cedar notes. The mouthfilling flavours are a melange of black cherry and blackberry, bolstered by vanilla and spice complexity. Soft tannins add to this wine's rich texture, which remains smooth and silky through the lingering finish."

Packaging

The whole package is made having in mind that the Black Peak range is a top quality one from all points of view. The bottles are bordelesa elite shaped, green-antique coloured and imported from Italy. The capsules are velvety black coloured, printed with the gold Vinterra logo. The corks are natural, 24x44 mm, imported from Germany. The carton case is for 12 or 6 bottles (according to the client's demand), made of firm white safety carton.
